Testing & Quality Standards
Accelerated Aging Test
QUV exposure testing to evaluate coating stability, color shift and adhesive performance under simulated UV and moisture conditions.
Peel Strength Test
Measures adhesive bonding to automotive paint surfaces at various temperatures to ensure consistent installation and removal behavior.
Tensile & Elongation
Verifies TPU substrate elasticity and strength to confirm film can stretch and conform to complex vehicle surfaces without tearing.
Gloss & Haze Measurement
Quantifies optical clarity and surface finish to ensure PPF maintains the original paint appearance without orange peel or cloudiness.
Hydrolysis Resistance
High-temperature humidity testing for humid climate products to evaluate long-term stability in tropical and subtropical conditions.
Chemical Resistance
Testing against common automotive chemicals including bird droppings, tree sap, road salt and cleaning solutions.
Climate-Specific Film Formulations
Hot & Dry (Middle East, Africa)
- Harder TPU structure for sand and gravel resistance
- Enhanced UV stabilizers in coating
- 8.5mil thickness recommended for high-speed driving
- High-temperature adhesive stability
Hot & Humid (Southeast Asia, South America)
- Hydrolysis-resistant TPU substrate
- Hydrophobic coating for water and stain repellency
- Anti-mildew and anti-stain surface treatment
- Corrosion-resistant adhesive system
Cold & Snowy (Northern Europe, Russia, Canada)
- Softer TPU for low-temperature conformability
- Flexible adhesive that activates at lower temps
- Ice and salt chemical resistance
- Better stretch recovery in freezing conditions
Temperate (Europe, North America, East Asia)
- Balanced hardness and flexibility
- All-season coating performance
- 7.5mil standard thickness for mixed driving
- Good UV and moisture resistance
